Okay.. We may be over-doing the Flover Photos. Maybe it’s time to upgrade my camera. The only non-blurry pictures I get are after the workouts are over and everyone is lying motionless on the ground. During the workouts people are in high speed/high intensity motion. However, every picture has a story and this is a really good one. Robyn has been coming to Hardass Fitness for about 4 months. She recently completed “Baseline” which is a short but nasty workout.
500 Meter Row
40 Squats
30 Sit-ups
20 Push-ups
10 Pull-ups / Body Rows
6 weeks earlier Robyn did this workout in 5 minutes and 50 seconds. A great time! But she had made some improvements and wanted to see if she could get down to 5 minutes and 30 seconds. Right after this photo I revealed to her a finish time of 5 min and 9 seconds. “Awesome”. To me, she is a totally different athlete than just six weeks ago. Shaving ten seconds off your best Baseline is a big deal, she shaved off 41 seconds. I’m sure she was doing a victory dance in her mind.
“Fatigue is temporary, victory eternal” Somebody smart said this, although I can’t remember who. If you know leave a comment.
