You can’t expect to win unless you know why you lose.
– Benjamin Lipson

The clean & jerk – a difficult movement pattern to master. As we practice Olympic movements in the room, be patient with yourself. Know that it is challenging for everyone and don’t expect to be good at it in minutes or days. More like months and years. Part of the challenge with using lighter elements like the medicine ball, is that it can be “too” light. Inexperience with the movement and light weight always leads to an arm curl on the clean as opposed to a straight-arm shrug and drop. Practice, Practice, Practice. It is the only way to improve.
