“Accomplishment is easiest when we work the hardest, and it is hardest when we work the easiest.”
What a fun day at Koko Head. We had twenty people show up to do the 1048 step trek and a few more who showed up later during the bar-b-q and did it on their own. The fastest time of the day was Todd T. @ 12:30. His comment upon completion of his first Koko Head WOD, “I never want to do that again!”.(we’ll see) The summit made for the best photo opportunities. Their are great views in all directions! Here is a question??? Would you like all BIG SATURDAYS to be outdoors? Why or why not? Leave thoughts to comments.
Today’s Workout:
“Koko Head Stairs” (1048 steps)
for time
BIG SATURDAY, one word, awesome! but I also hate those stairs because they are such a great challenge. you didn't mention the kettlebell tossing in the tire, which was soo fun! more fun for the guys though who dominated the game.
I love love love the idea of outdoor Big Saturdays! The beach, the park,it's all good…except maybe Koko Head =). I think we should also always follow up with some fun like a BBQ and some kind of recreational sport (e.g. volleyball, softball, football, badminton, basketball, tennis, etc.). It should be great fun after a few drinks. Crossfit encourages learning a new sport remember?
Whatever happened to the pictures of John and Josh's "date"? They looked so in love =).
HELL YEAH!
I love the box, but I think taking it outside once a month is a great idea. Sometimes the horses need to get outside the ranch so they can gallop freely.
Plus this haole needs all the vitamin D he can get!!!
big Saturdays should be outdoors because I need a better tan !
