Taking the dumbbells overhead is the “monster in the middle” that make this workout a big challenge, especially the closer you get to Rx weight. Trying to go unbroken is mentally and physically rough. If this is no problem for you, then pushing the run as hard as possible would be the way to dial up the intensity.
