Since you only get to keep the lower score of the 2 movements, it forces athletes to balance the rep count to be exactly even or at most one rep apart. The Power Clean and Burpee Box Jump stations were at least 20 feet away from each other which increased the transition time. In the final seconds, athletes were sprinting to the other station to try and keep their reps.
